Google submits AB900 application

On August 26, we submitted an application to the State of California for AB-900, otherwise known as the Jobs and Economic Improvement Through Environmental Leadership Act of 2011. This act is a way to ensure projects that meet a very high bar in environmental sustainability move forward in a timely manner once they’re approved. 

By submitting this application, we are committing to a number of exciting sustainability and economic metrics, including net neutral greenhouse gas emissions (both construction and operations) for 30 years, LEED Gold, and 15 percent transportation efficiency compared to “typical” projects. We are excited to make these early commitments as part of the Downtown West Mixed-Use Plan.
